Ali Islam, a poet, rapper, and motivational speaker from Ottawa, Canada wrote this poem one night two years ago after getting into an argument with his mother. It was the first time he ever felt truly horrible for doing so and when he went downstairs, the piano piece “Nuvole Bianche” by Ludovico Einaudi inspired him to write.
