Ahmad (formerly Llanchie Stevenson) was America’s first African-American ballerina performing at the Radio City Music Hall and also in the Dance Theatre of Harlem before her acceptance to Islam. She relates her experience in the ballet world as an African American and what led her to becoming a Muslim.
